sisters makeup!

So I did my sister's makeup over the weekend for a Dance show she did, and here's how it turned out -

I used all Sugarpill products, and the lashes she brought were Red Cherry, they were massive, made an awesome effect though! :D

I've started work at the jewelery store again, I love it, good fun! I also ended up buying a new car which I'm super happy with, i'm in love haha!

Slow day today, all I did was take my car to the Radiator and Mechanic's, $350 later and it's still not good to go yet, will cost me another $300 when it's booked in again next week, ahh!'

Super looking forward to my meeting on Thursday, fingers crossed I have a new (fun) job!

Afternoon Dolls!

So it's Sunday afternoon, bringing my lovely weekend to a close! I spent the day the best way I know how to - shopping! I went with Mum, we went down for a coffee and accidentally ended up spending 4 hours shopping haha! I helped her add a heap of new items to her wardrobe because she hasn't done a good shop for herself in ages. I ended up buying four sweaters, my first ever pair of high heels (I know, I know, but I'm already so tall - 5'9 - that I never needed them. But I love the way they sex up an outfit so I decided to buy my first pair) and some boring ol' hairspray.

These top two ^ are from an older ladies shop Mum dragged me into - I'm glad I went in there now, they are made of the lovliest softest cotton, and are nice and baggy and comfy to stay at home in! Plus both cost me only $18 :D

This cute sweater is from Valley girl - $9.95 - I only got it because I'm a sucker for cute prints, and the little hearts are just sweet!

I had a great day with Mum, we don't usually get the chance to spend time together just the two of us. My weekend ended up fairly quiet, on Friday I spent time with my Sisters, yesterday I spent the day stuck in my novel, and last night as I said in my last post I went out for dinner (got my favourite, chicken parmigana! ♥) and seen Final Destination 5 AND Horrible Bosses! We couldn't decide which one to see so we seen both, Final Destination was awesome, I've loved every one of those movies, and Horrible Bosses was hilarious, I recommend both movies!

Afternoon sweets!

Hooray, it's the weekend! I spent last night at home with the fam, tonight I'm going on a dinner and movie date - going to see Final Destination 5, I'm such a sucker for gore.

I hardly ever stray away from my silver/black smoky eye lately so I decided to go golden, this is how it turned out -

I like the change - paired with some gold accessories I'm actually feeling really Summer-y!

one long eventful day

Hi dolls!

So on Tuesday my best friend and I travelled two hours away so I could get tattooed! I love road tripping with my best girl, and I needed her to drive as I only just got my licence back today (yay!!). We stopped about halfway there and some man mentioned to us that the front of my car was steaming and blowing smoke, so we opened it up, and he un-done the radiator cap and smoke went everywhere. We had to wait for the car to cool down, filled it up with about 6 litres of water (it was bone dry) then went on our merry way. I got my stomach tattooed -

Wasn't the most easiest of places but I got there ;)

I also got an Octopus on my arm, but we didn't to finish it as we were running late from the car troubles, so I'll get that completed in a few weeks! Where I got the octopus - inner elbow, that soft part - hurt more than my stomach!

Anywho, on the way home, we got about 40kms away from the town I got tattooed in and the car started blowing smoke again. So we stopped, filled it up with more water than it started going crazy bubbling and steaming, we were so worried we took all our things out of the car and backed away! But it settled down and a nice truck driver came and talked to us about what was happening. After that we had to stop every half an hour so to fill it up and let it cool down - so the trip back took a little over four hours instead of two. Long, eventful day! And now I've got my license back today but have to wait another week and a half for my car to be fixed - that'd be right huh?

Never mind, long day for sure, but I'm glad I had to go through it with Breanna out of anyone, we were calm the whole day, and had a good laugh about it!

I had the best weekend I've had in a long time, so many laughs, so many drinks, so much dancing and seeing so many friends! I hope you all had exciting weekends!

upcoming photo shoot!

Hi sweets! Just thought I'd share with you this little snapshot. A photographer approached me over facebook and asked if I would please let him shoot me for an upcoming exhibition he wants to enter some photographs in!

He is wanting to shoot with the same sort of film as this test shot shown. The exhibition will include 13 photos, all life size! Scary haha! I met up with him yesterday at a Cafe and he explained the shoot, it won't happen for another couple weeks until everything is organised though, and he wants me to dye all my hair blonde (so just get rid of the dark under the fringe) and the makeup will be a soft pink lip, cream eyeshadow all over the lid and up through the crease and liquid liner plus some big lashes! I'm excited, it's something very new to me so I'll also be nervous but it'll be a fun experience all the same. I'll post the pictures once the shoot is done too.
